ABOUT US
In 2010, Alban Agro started its activities in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, from where it centralized its commercial operations to other regions in Brazil. Mauricio Alban, with a background in Foreign Trade and at the head of the company, with experience gained in agribusiness, over the two previous decades, operating in the Brazilian Cerrado and Midwestern Region, he participated actively in the expansion of the Brazilian agricultural market, specifically in the soybean seed market, from conventional to the present day, with the new generations "Intact", through the arrival of transgenics in the country in the late 2000s. We are honored to be part of this conglomerate called "agro", of such relevance in the economic scenario, and we are aware of the growing importance for humanity that this segment will have in the coming years.
In 2017, the company started to operate in international operations with the first indirect export of seeds to the African continent. With a very special focus on "non-genetically modified" seeds and derivatives, we started to work with strategic partnership with seedlings, with NON-GMO certification (GMO Free), for the promotion of agricultural production in this niche, providing technology and breaking down barriers in countries with difficulties to access genetics, and limitations in originating raw materials, either for human or animal consumption, where this requirement is mandatory. In 2018, the company expanded its offices to the western part of the state of Paraná, an important center for agricultural and animal protein production, also expanding our activities as a supplier to the regional industries and cooperatives, with a strong presence in the southern and southeastern states, supplying grains, cereals, oilseeds and pulses, with local, national and international strategic partners, shipping products, such as corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, various beans, chickpeas, peas, peanuts, lentils, oregano, among others.

WEST OF PARANÁ

We are the generation who recently saw our parents discover the no-till planting system. We witnessed the spectacular leap in agricultural productivity over the last few decades, and the ability to harvest up to three crops in many Brazilian regions. We applauded the progress, not only in genetics, but also in digital management and “Agriculture 4.0". We discovered that we could be more responsible, with examples such as ILPF (Crop-Livestock-Forest Integration). We were - and still are - more and more stimulated by the growing wave of globalization and its aggressive demand for the transit of inputs between continents for food production, and their distribution in each corner of the planet, and therefore, we are currently part of a segment that has, on its horizon, this large-scale demand for a population that keeps growing and for which the challenge of sustainability will be increasingly present.
